CORONAVIRUS


If you have travelled from China or have been in contact with someone confirmed as having Coronavirus in the last two weeks, you may be at risk of Coronavirus. Please do NOT leave the house. Instead, ring 111 if: You have been in China in the last 14 days and develop cough, fever or shortness of breath; or You have been in Wuhan or Hubei Province in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone confirmed as having Coronavirus, even if you feel well



If you need a sick note regarding self-isolation due to Covid-19, please be advised that the government has set up a new service for ‘self-isolation’ notes that can be accessed online. Please use the following link <https://111.nhs.uk/isolation-note>.



You do NOT need a note from your GP. Please help the surgery by only contacting us for more urgent needs such as if you require an appointment. Thank you.


 

Community Midwives

Antenatal Clinics: Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm by appointment, providing a full service to pregnant women.

Pre-pregnancy advice is also available. Parent-craft classes and aqua natal classes are available on request.

Community Nurses

Community Matron

The Community Matron works with patients who have long term conditions and are classed as high intensity users.  These are usually patients with complex needs and several unplanned hospital admissions the previous year.  The aim is to enable the patient to self manage their conditions more effectively.

District Nurses

The District Nurses provide nursing treatment and care to the housebound and patients recently discharged from hospital at the ward's request.
